We’re thrilled to announce that we raised a whopping £1,448 for our chosen charity, StreetVet! 🎉 Your support, generosity, and good cheer made the day truly unforgettable.
From behind-the-scenes tours to fun games, tasty treats, and meeting our fantastic team – it was a joy to open our doors and connect with you all. Whether you joined us for a chat, brought your little ones for face painting, or just popped in to say hello, thank you for being part of it.
About StreetVet – and why it means so much to us
StreetVet is an incredible charity that brings free, essential veterinary care to the pets of people experiencing homelessness. They operate in multiple locations across the UK – including Reading, where one of our very own vets, Gemma, volunteers her time and skills.
These much-loved animals are often lifelines to their owners – offering companionship, protection, and unconditional love in incredibly tough circumstances. StreetVet helps ensure they get the same quality care and compassion as any other pet, from vaccinations and flea treatments to surgeries and emergency care.
In Reading, the StreetVet team (including Gemma!) goes out regularly to provide care on the streets, build trusting relationships, and make a real difference – one pet at a time.
