Complimentary Out-Of-Hours Advice

At Mulberry House Vets we want to support you as much as we can, whenever possible. That’s why we’ve partnered with VidiVet to provide you instant peace of mind with access to digital vet out-of-hours support, even on Bank Holidays.

If your pet becomes seriously unwell outside of our opening hours, our out-of-hours emergency care is provided by Medivet Wokingham. Their team of dedicated emergency vets and nurses care for patients throughout the night and over weekends so that our team can be refreshed and ready for gold-standard care and service during regular hours. We can arrange transport back to Mulberry House Vets for patients requiring ongoing treatment the next day.

If you have concerns about your pet out of hours but it is not an emergency, you can alternatively seek advice via online video call from VidiVet

What is the VidiVet app?

Think of it as NHS 111 for your pets. If you are worried about your pet once we are closed, you can send your query to a vet on the VidiVet app and get a personalised video response direct to your phone for immediate advice!

VidiVet keep us in the loop with any updates on your pets so that we are ready to help as soon as we are open.

How do I use VidiVet

The first step is to sign up using the link above. As a member of Mulberry House Vets you will get complimentary access to VidiVet. Once registered you can download the app and use the Vidivet service out of hours whenever you need it.

Are VidiVet vets qualified?

Yes. All VidiVets vets are Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) registered and a minimum of 5 years qualified.

How much is VidiVet

We see so much value in VidiVet that we’re covering the cost for registered clients; it’s FREE whenever you need.

Do I need a smartphone to use VidiVet?

The VidiVet app is available on smartphones and tablets. You’ll also need to ensure that you have a good internet or data connection.

Can VidiVet prescribe medications?

No. Vidivet won’t prescribe any medications however they may recommend at-home care and they can discuss medications that have already been prescribed by your vet.

Can I use VidiVet during the day?

VidiVet are available out of hours, 365 days a year, but the team at Mulberry House Vets are always on hand to help with any questions during our opening hours.
