Nurse Vacancies

Mulberry House Vets in Berkshire is growing and we need a new veterinary nurse!

We are an independent small animal practice known for our supportive and friendly team. Our dedication to providing exceptional veterinary care was rewarded this year when we were finalists in the Petplan Vet practice of the Year 2024 Awards! If you’re a qualified veterinary nurse looking to join a fabulous team where your skills and compassion are valued, we would love to hear from you.

What we offer:

A team that cares, listens and nurtures:

We are incredibly proud of our team—they go above and beyond to care for our clients, pets, and each other. Teamwork is at the heart of everything we do, and we prioritise listening to and caring for our staff.

Our culture and core values are well established and continually worked on. They work because we believe in them and they drive every decision we make as individuals and as a practice.

A workplace which encourages you to be the best veterinary nurse that you can be.

We strongly support clinical and non-clinical CPD – whether you want to learn about dental x-rays, CT scanning, schedule 3 procedures or improve time efficiency and self-organisation, all skills are important to us! Our nurses are fully qualified and highly involved with all practical procedures including endoscopy, radiology, dentistry and CT scanning as well as anaesthesia and consultations. Many have done further training in dentistry, physiotherapy, bereavement, emergency and critical care and feline medicine. We are proud to have ISFM gold standard status.

We all work across both our Wokingham and Binfield sites with a fair rotation between consults, procedures, anaesthesia and hospital patient care.

Career progression and clinical improvement for everyone.

Our nurses have their own individual areas of responsibility for making the service and care which we provide at Mulberry House the best it can be.

Rather than one head nurse, we encourage every nurse to challenge themselves, learn new skills and continually improve what we offer.

Our salaries range from £28-36K and our salary banding system rewards team players who make a positive impact to the practice, our clients, our patients and our team.

Our full-time nurses work 37.5 hours a week and choose whether they work 4 longer days or 5 shorter days – whichever suits you!

Saturdays are on a 1:5 rota. Sundays, bank holidays and OOH emergencies are covered by Medivet 24-hour hospital.

Lunch hour is protected, and we have a lovely staffroom and peaceful garden to enjoy it in.

Check out our website/Facebook/Instagram/Google reviews and if you want to join our team, please email your CV to louise@mulberryhousevets.co.uk  All applications will be treated with confidentiality.
