These consultations are 20 minutes long, providing ample time for our qualified veterinary nurses to deliver professional, compassionate care and practical advice tailored to your pet’s needs.

A nurse consultation is a relaxed, informative appointment where you and your pet can benefit from:
- Weight and diet management – Regular weight checks, body condition scoring, and tailored advice to help maintain a healthy weight and prevent obesity-related issues
- Dental checks – Early identification of dental disease and guidance on home dental care routines
- Parasite prevention – Advice and administration of flea, tick, and worming treatments
- Post-operative care – Suture removal, bandage changes, wound checks, and recovery monitoring following surgery
- Medication administration – Demonstrations and support with giving tablets, injections, or other treatments at home

Our amazing nurse team have put together these clinics to help owners navigate their dogs’ key developmental stages.
These appointments will focus on areas such as;
- Socialisation at the vets
- Getting your puppy used to being handled and having a veterinary exam
- Answer common questions about basic general health, integration into family life, keeping dogs safe, diets & weight management, parasite control, neutering.
- Provide structured/tailored support to puppy owners at key developmental stages – so you aren’t overwhelmed by a huge amount of information when your puppy is only 2-3 months old.
These free clinics will be offered when your puppy is 4, 6 and 9 months old.
