Patient Story – Daisy

DAISY

Daisy’s owner brought her to Mulberry House vets as she had started sneezing. The sneezing did not improve with medications so the team performed a procedure called a rhinoscopy. Daisy was anaesthetised, and a small camera was inserted up her nostril to assess the nasal cavities in more detail.
The team saw a green foreign object up her right nostril which they removed with a small set of forceps. Daisy had inhaled a grass seed up her nose! After removing the grass seed, Daisy’s sneezing subsided and she was feeling much more comfortable.
