We are an independent small animal practice in Wokingham, Berkshire that was set up in 2019 by four friends and colleagues. Their dream was to own a vet practice where everyone loved being part of a fun team that provided excellent veterinary care and exceptional client service.

Nearly five years on, our local reputation as a caring and professional surgery has taken off, and we’re having so much fun that we are opening a second surgery in nearby Binfield.  We are looking for a qualified veterinary nurse to join our happy team. Initially at our Wokingham practice and then also at our Binfield site when it opens in late Spring.

We are proud of our happy team, they do an amazing job of looking after our clients, pets and each other. Teamwork is so important to us, we look after our staff, we listen and we care!

Our nurses are all qualified and spend their days nursing! As well as looking after our patients in hospital and seeing consults, they regularly assist with dentistry,  surgery including keyhole and orthopaedic procedures, x-rays, ultrasound and endoscopy. Our new Binfield surgery will also have a CT scanner.

We encourage and support development of clinical interests, our nurses have done further training in dentistry, physiotherapy, bereavement, emergency and critical care and feline medicine (We have ISFM gold standard status).

Saturdays are on a 1:5 rota. Sundays, bank holidays and our OOH emergencies are covered by MiNightVet. Our nursing salaries are banded and range from £26k-£36k FTE. Our full time nurses work 37.5 hours a week and choose whether they work 4 longer days or 5 shorter days – whichever suits YOU! Finding the right person for our team is incredibly important to us and we will consider part-time candidates too. 

Your lunch hour is protected and we have a cosy, comfy staffroom with Netflix and a table full of tasty treats as well as a lovely garden.
