Mulberry House Vets is growing!

We are an independent small animal practice in Wokingham, Berkshire that was set up in 2019 by four friends and colleagues. Their dream was to own a vet practice where everyone loved being part of a fun team that provided excellent veterinary care and exceptional client service.

Nearly 5 years on, our local reputation as a caring and professional surgery has taken off, and we’re having so much fun that we are opening a second surgery in nearby Binfield.

We are looking for two experienced, confident vets to join our happy team.  To us, finding the right person for the job is essential so we are happy to consider full/part time options and pay you what you deserve. Our salaries are banded and range from £45k-£70k FTE. Full time is four 8 hour days a week plus 1:5 Saturdays.

Sundays, bank holidays and OOH emergencies are covered by MiNightVet.

We encourage and support development of clinical interests including certificates. (We have medicine and ECC certificate holders and visiting orthopaedic surgeons)

We are recruiting early to ensure we get the right people to fit with our Mulberry House culture: likely start date will be February and April 2024 (we’ve got some building work to do first!).

All of our nurses are qualified, we respect them and they do a fantastic job!

We practice a Fear Free approach and have ISFM gold standard status.

There is lots of fancy kit to play with: full idexx in-house lab/x-ray/dental x-ray/ultrasound/endoscopy and laparoscopy and are installing a CT scanner at our new practice too!

Your lunch hour is protected and we have a cosy, comfy staffroom with Netflix and a table full of tasty treats as well as a lovely garden.
